About our Client - Our client is a mobile platform player in the E-Commerce industry in India for the last 9 years. Currently they are looking to diversify into the tech-enabled consumer finance space and looking for key hires for this business to be based out of Mumbai. For the new business vertical they require a Senior Finance individual to join them at the helm to assist in the growing the business. A fast growing start-up with a very keen focus on the Indian market.

Job Description - Reporting to the CEO / Founder, your specific responsibilities will include:

- You will be responsible for managing the entire Accounts & Finance domain, wiz. - Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning, MIS, Audit, Taxation (Direct, Indirect, Transfer Pricing & International Tax), Treasury and Secretarial.

- Supporting the CEO in conducting weekly reviews of business categories, understanding results, and the relationship of those results to the key customer facing inputs (pricing, selection, convenience)

- Work with the Business Development Heads to drive improved performance

- Ensures business decisions endure processes that drive robust financial challenge and accountability

- Developing forecasts for business accurately (and in detail) modeling core business drivers;

- Driving the annual planning sessions that include a strategic discussion of the results and immediate forecast, and the long-term road map for future years;

- Conducting periodic reviews of financial results, understanding key variances to plan, and orchestrating the path to corrective action with key stakeholders;

- Creating high quality management reporting to facilitate the communication of numbers and results including vendor scorecards, price trends and other metrics critical to keeping the business on track with planned results

- Build and grow a talented team of Finance individuals to assist you in taking this start-up to newer heights

The Successful Candidate - You are a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10-12 years of work experience. You should have at least 5 years of experience in positions at a Senior Level and be part of the driving the business performance. Candidates currently working with an NBFC / leading Lending organizations need only apply as their experience would be ideally suited for the role on offer. Apart from being a strong performer in the Finance space - you should be analytically strong with exceptional commercial / negotiation skills. Individuals with a strong business acumen and high energy to work in a start up would be ideal for this opportunity.
