Job Description:
Position Purpose:
- Supporting the Finance and Treasury Functions for the bank.
Responsibilities:
Direct Responsibilities:- Help with Financial Accounting and Reporting and liaison with internal outsourced team for Head Office (Matisse) Reporting.
- Performance Management: Help prepare a consolidated view of the SIPL budget (revenues and expenses). Lead preparation, review and upload in relevant budget packs. Reviewing Monthly accruals of expenses and monitoring the actuals with Budget.
- Product control: Ensure timely reporting of the P&L and FX Recon to the regional finance team.
- MIS & Reporting: Support capturing and tracking client revenues. Ensure daily revenue reports are sent on time and are error-free. Provide input on Financials and revenues as required for governance forums such as the Board meeting, internal management meeting, ad-hoc requests, etc.
- Risk and Controls: Support performance and reporting of 1st level of controls for SIPL Finance team. Coordination and submission of statutory, regulatory, internal and other audits and requirements etc. as needed.
- Fund/Treasury Management: Managing own and client funds to optimize float income.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies:Technical:- Thorough knowledge of finance related processes. Ideally with a background / some experience with financial controls, financial and management accounting and performance management.
- Knowledge of Atlas II, Dolphin, SAP.
- Demonstrated expertise in Financial and Management Accounting, including knowledge of Indian/Global accounting standards and guidelines.
