Finding a home rental today is similar to opening up Yellowpages, selecting a restaurant, asking them to send their menu, placing an order over phone and living in a constant state of anxiety until your order is delivered. Sounds awful right? This is exactly how the home rental search process works: just replace Yellowpages with any of your online real estate platforms, restaurant with broker or landlord and you will get what we mean.

We are disrupting the $120 bn home rental sector in India, with our end to end fin-tech enabled marketplace with a unique offline to online (O2O) approach.The world's foremost fin-tech investors and India's largest developers believe in us. We are building out our suite of fin-tech products across the rental, home selling and buying space and are looking for someone to take this part of our business from 0 to 1. We have already developed novel products such as security deposit financing and want to grow our portfolio further.

Here's a Bit More About What We're Looking For:

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Developing and managing relationships with Banks & Institutions for origination of mortgages, home loans and a variety of securitized debt products

- Liaison with Rating Agencies for surveillance exercise, Legal Advisors & Due Diligence Auditors for funding related activities

- Co-Ordinating with legal team for closure of funding related documents and agreements.

- Responsible for various MIS & reports

- End to End Process management including handling Audit and Compliance guidance

- Ensure the personnel are trained on the required process periodically

- Responsible for underwriting secured and unsecured proposals for loan customers as per the laid down policies & procedure to honor the agreed SLAs and manage area business volumes

- Supervise a team of credit underwriters and provide guidelines

- Conduct personal discussion with customers to establish credit worthiness

- Control and contain front-end delinquencies by calling up customer on first presentation

- Making sure completion of credit/KYC documents and verification- telephonic, field & collateral visits

- Coordinate with sales to achieve targets and ensure SLAs are met

- Creating from scratch SOPs relating to all aspects of the vertical: sales, underwriting, disbursement etc

What will set this person apart:

- Bachelor's degree in finance or management, or related field

- 5+ years experience in a previous home finance/home loan banking role across business development, sales and underwriting

- Proven ability to partner and converse with financial partners such as banks, NBFCs

- Self-starter with a desire to jump in, learn quickly and take ownership of companies entire fin-tech business development efforts

- Ability to track, measure and report on the efficacy and performance of initiatives

- Acute attention to detail and highly organised

- Superb written and verbal communication expertise
