Vice President - Field Risk Management - Agri Insurance Domain

Job Description

Required Knowledge:

Experience:

- At least 15 years of relevant experience with at least 9 years' experience in Field Risk management

- Understanding of organizational systems, processes, and products

- Risk Prevention and Detection: understanding of field risk in the Agri insurance domain.

- Regulatory knowledge: conversant with field risk, detection capability, and investigation process

- Analytical skills with good knowledge of Data analytics.

- To act as nodal officer and monitor policies and areas that are vulnerable to anti-selection including prevention, detection, Inspection, and investigation.

- To create and maintain a Field Risk Framework for internal and external field risk.

- To undertake data mining to identify a statistical sample of claims and policies for quality assurance activities and investigate anomalous claims payments.

- To ensure early detection of suspicious cases at new business login, post-issuance, and claim stages.

- Undertake on-site inspection based on anomalous patterns.

- To be responsible for assurance on portfolio quality through data analytics for adverse selection

- To monitor and control the work done by the field inspection agency.

- To develop and publish regular MIS on various activities like investigation TAT, risk trends.

- To impart training to employees, advisors, and channel partners on field risk management.

Requirements

Educational Qualification:

- Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Husbandry or Management/Statistics

- MBA in Rural Management/Agri Business
