Position: Vice President - Farmer Finance

Experience : 12+ Years

Location: Vijayawada

Monday to Friday (WFO)

Timings : 9 am to 6 pm

Job Description:

We are looking for a result-oriented and highly organized Fintech Leader to join the leadership team as the startup positions itself for the rapid scale-up of its crop financing division in India.

The Vice President - Farmer Finance will play a key role in driving the farmer financing division and shall take responsibility for the business growth and the profitability of the division.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the farmer financing division of the company

- Devise the right farmer-financing strategies that align with the overall company goals

- Develop and effectively manage the necessary partnerships with SCBs, NBFCs and other partners to develop the off-balance sheet lending portfolio in line with the company's goals

- Co-Strategize, with the R&D team, the technology stack required to effectively track the crop / crop activity and reduce the farmer financing risk

Skills / Experience:

12 - 15 years of experience in Credit Risk / Underwriting at a Fintech or NBFC, with a focus on rural

/ MSME / unsecured lending. A strong understanding of rural supply chains and macroeconomics.

- CA/MBA/CFA/Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field along with certifications in Credit Risk, or Financial Planning & Analysis desired.

- Awareness of the regulatory aspects related to consumer and commercial credit, and ability to deal with the regulators and concerned stakeholders.

- Must have complete understanding of the KPls, MIS templates and Fintech reporting requirements.

- Demonstrated ability / track record of managing relationships with BFSIs and resource mobilization

- Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment.
