VP Facility
Looking to hire a Business Head for Facility vertical for a leading real estate giant in Bangalore.
What will you do? :- To develop facilities management business leading a team of Senior professionals, Managers, supervisors & Engineers involved in operating retail and commercial properties of the Group housing many retailers and MNCs. To monitor upgradation of properties, energy management and streamlining relevant processes, Guidelines/SOP to optimise operations.
Core Responsibilities :
Strategic :- Drive strategies for P&L responsibility of facility management business.
- Drive for Facility management business to pitch our service offerings to acquire new clients and develop business.
- Provide inputs on best practices for developing appropriate service standards and strategies for effective facility management.
- Monitor and keep abreast of market trends on facilities management and integrate inputs for service enhancements.
Operational :- Drive the operational team to ensure efficient & quality services across commercial & retail properties.
- Have an overview of Service Providers to ensure effective services and timely resolution of customer / tenant grievances.
- Interact with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs/pain points to ensure efficient services
- Vendor finalization for facilities management and uniformity of services across multiple properties.
- Drive implementation of EHS measures by all service providers.
- Monitor processes for procurement and inventory management for the Facilities.
- Ensure the implementation of business continuity and crisis management guidelines for all facilities.
- Establish relations with govt authorities to ensure smooth operations in the properties.
- Drive to establish relevant SOPs and Guidelines for all the FM processes.
Financial :
- Drive cost saving initiatives through effective facility management methods ensuring usage of warranties/ SLAs/AMCs etc.
- Optimise CAM charges and guide teams to enhance revenues.
- Drive timely collection of maintenance costs and service provider payments for effective revenue management.
- Drive FM budgets and ensure periodical analysis to keep costs in check.
People :
- Drive performance-oriented culture and ensure efficient use of resources and capabilities.
- Develop an efficient FM team with strategic orientation and operational excellence.
- Foster an environment of learning, excellence, and innovation within all aspects of teamwork
- Mentor and coach subordinates to develop the team capabilities for individual and business growth.

Who are we looking for? :
Qualification :
- Engineer, preferably with Marine Engineering with master's in Business Administration / Hospitality Management. Ex-servicemen with relevant experience, education, and skillsets.
- Desired experience: 20 - 25 years of experience with relevant experience in business development of Facility Management / Property Management Function.
Knowledge and skills : Technical Knowledge : - Knowledge of Real Estate and Construction industry.
- Knowledge of documentation and agreements, service & asset contracts / warranties
- Knowledge of Rules and regulations governing commercial and retail properties.
- Knowledge of facility services and associated agencies / service providers
