This role will be responsible for maintaining the brand identity and driving sales of the distribution business internationally.
The person would be the business owner for his/her channel. The role entails leveraging know how of internal and external variables to grow the reach/ network and deliver sales. The role entails forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the channel. The role also requires the incumbent to drive strategic projects and promotions to achieve business objectives.
Knowledge and Skill / Qualification Requirements
Experience :
- Minimum 12 + years of experience in International Sales & Distribution, Export Operations
Education :
- Postgraduate from reputed Institute will be strongly preferred.
Skills :
- Knowledge of Export operations (Customs Clearance) and market information in Export industry
Job Description :
- Responsible for setting up entire distribution network and international sales structure.
- Accountable for Sales strategy (acquisition, client relationship, ensuring brand visibility) and revenue growth (Meeting sales targets) of the company.
- Complete ownership of P&L in the organization with a focus on increasing distribution and market share
- Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions and negotiating and closing business deals.
- Responsible for setting a branch office, establish some form of partnership with a local company or individual, or by make direct investments in the local market.
- Monitor Export Operations
- Logistics: Co-ordinate with Custom House Agent, Transportation Companies, Courier Companies, and Inspection Agencies.
- Documentation: Follow up with CHA and other concerned organizations with regards to issuance of Bills, Certificate of Origin and Inspection Certificate as per Country requirement and scrutiny of their bills.
- Liaison with Government Servicing SPOC- s, relationship management
