Our Client is seeking a sharp and passionate Equity Research Analyst to join our esteemed Institutional Equity Research team. In this dynamic role, you will become a thought leader within the Consumer Discretionary, Retail, and QSR sectors, crafting insightful research that empowers our institutional investor clients to make informed investment decisions.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of publicly traded companies within the Consumer Discretionary, Retail, and QSR sectors in India.

- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support investment valuation and thesis generation.

- Generate high-impact research products, including company initiation coverage, in-depth sector reports, thematic research pieces, results updates, and insightful conference call summaries.

- Cultivate strong relationships with company management teams through regular meetings and calls, gaining exclusive insights to inform your research and investment recommendations.

- Proactively participate in earnings calls and industry conferences, staying ahead of the curve on emerging trends and competitive dynamics.

- Present your research findings and investment ideas to institutional investors, fostering strong relationships and building a loyal client base.

- Utilize Bloomberg and other advanced financial databases to conduct rigorous research and analysis.

- Collaborate effectively with senior analysts and team members to ensure seamless research coverage and exceptional client service.

Experience & Skills:

- 6-9 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, or a related financial services role.

- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling techniques and a strong grasp of valuation methodologies.

- Proven track record of producing clear, concise, and insightful research reports that generate client interest and action.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders, including CEOs, CFOs, and institutional investors.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify investment opportunities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & PowerPoint) and Bloomberg is essential.

Education:

- MBA in Finance

- CA

- CFA, is a plus
