Looking for a Leader in Enterprise Sales with strong experience in selling Technology to illustrious BFSI/ NBFC clients for a new age Data Bureau in Mumbai location.
The Vice President, Business or VP, Business will be a key member of the senior management team. The candidate will be responsible for defining & executing the right strategy for DS's business development activities while ensuring it fits with the companies' broader vision & ambition.
Responsibilities
- Jointly working with the leadership to chalk out a growth strategy and business plan for the company to meet its vision and goals
- Building out a robust sales and business development strategy for the company
- Nurturing the right partnerships and building the eco-system for DS that enables greater visibility in the market and high-velocity lead flow
- Participating in management meetings and senior leadership discussions on key strategic matters
- Understanding the role of technology & data in fulfilling the company's vision;
- Building the sales and business development function that fully leverages the company's existing technology and also planned technology rollouts in the future.
- Building a cohesive risk management strategy across customer lifecycle
- Building innovative products and segments in line with the company's vision to maximize penetration of the products into the target markets.
- Building out a nimble, agile and flexible sales and business development team that will complement the digital DNA of the organization.
- Target setting, performance monitoring, coaching and guiding the sales team down the line (both existing and new).
- Identify areas of improvement in teams and processes and take necessary initiatives to bridge these gaps for delivery to long-term strategy.
- Constantly influence the market through participation in industry forums and market events to ensure positive brand recall.
- Constantly provide feedback to Technology, Product Management and Marketing departments to drive future roadmap.
- Provide regular reporting to the leadership team on progress against the business plan, risks and support required.
- Keep the business relevant and ahead of the market by constantly interpreting customer, market and technology trends and providing feedback to the leadership team.
- Constantly fine tune the offering based on customer feedback
- Responsibility and accountability for revenue and sales numbers with agreed profit margins.
Skill Requirement :
- 10-15 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience as VP, Business or Sales Head in fast-growing environments
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity
- Able to collaborate across the organization and with external stakeholder
- Experience successfully working with senior (C-level) executives to drive companies larger goals.
- Highest standard of integrity, humility and ethics
- Leadership with a wide perspective right from strategy to operations
