VP Engineering - IT Startup ( B2B/B2C) @ Mumbai

Position: VP Engineering / CTO

Location: Mumbai

Exp: 8 - 14 years

- We're looking for an exceptional VP of Engineering / CTO to provide strategic technical leadership to our team of highly talented engineers & designers, as well as to continue building out our team.

- Drive an excellent customer experience, continually raising the bar on functionality, usability, and simplicity. This person will lead the overall product vision for the company, including strategy and execution. You will build a top tier product team that will continuously shape and improve the company's products and services. Explore and innovate new technologies, features, and tools.

- Experience architecting, developing, and launching software products and/or services

- Experience at a rapidly growing startup, or with cutting-edge teams at a larger tech company, ideally you have experience building systems and technology for a marketplace

- A deep interest and existing network in the B2B, B2C technology industry

- Experience managing successful engineering teams including hiring/termination and performance management

- Entrepreneurial mind set and a desire for continuous learning

What We're Looking For:

- Bachelor's in Computer Science (or equivalent technical background) from Tier-1 institutes ( IIT / NIT / BIT / IIIT etc. )

- You have 8+ years of experience building and growing successful product-focused teams.

- Ability to simplify and scale a multi-stack platform.

- You enjoy carefully listening to and prioritizing the competing needs of the customer, market, and internal teams as Product Owner.

- You have superb communication skills with the ability to create comprehensive product roadmaps

- You thrive in a startup environment where you can expect that your planned agenda for the day will change multiple times as you wear numerous hats

- You are a do-er  one that is happy to roll up their sleeves and contribute to a critical need

- You are technically savvy with a solid understanding of technical architecture. This will allow you to appropriately drive a product vision that will align with the company's Engineering team.

- You thoroughly enjoy creating and conducting engaging product demos to small and large groups -- especially for fundraising and sales enablement.
