Vice President - Engineering - IT

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Technology to lead our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS platforms or similar technology environments, with expertise in Kubernetes, multicloud architecture (AWS and GCP), SQL and NoSQL databases, DevOps and IAC, and both frontend and backend development (Node.js, react.js, Java, Python, GO). Additionally, experience in stakeholder management and vendor interaction is required.

- Lead the technology team in developing and implementing cutting- edge solutions for our platform

- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in our technology stack

- Collaborate with cross- functional teams to define and implement technical strategies

- Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of our platform

- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth

- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, clients, and vendors

- Oversee vendor selection and management processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and requirements

- Represent the technology team in client meetings and other external interactions

Requirements:

- 7 to 12 years of experience in technology/engineering roles, preferably in SaaS companies or platforms

- Strong technical skills in Kubernetes, multicloud architecture, SQL and NoSQL databases, - Node.js, React.js, DevOps and IAC, and frontend and backend development

- Proven track record of leading high- performing technology teams

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Experience in stakeholder management and vendor interaction

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;

- Master's degree significantly preferred
