Job Description - As VP-Engineering, the incumbent will report into the CTO and be responsible for mentoring a team of highly-skilled, motivated and tenured engineers. The role will have a high focus on people and processes.

Description :
- Managing a team of 35 engineers and further scaling it up to double its present size
- Focus on people, capacity, release and process planning
- Closely working with product team to roll out high quality releases
- Coordinating with senior stakeholders to drive the organization's people & process strategy in line with the broader business vision
- Leading company-wide prioritization of improvements to code quality, productivity and predictability
- Improving developer productivity, optimize our CI/CD pipelines, optimize our cloud infrastructure utilization and cost
Profile :
Must Haves :
- 10+ years of experience with a track record of leading large, globally distributed teams
- Hands-on experience of scaling teams up from scratch
- Process-oriented mindset
- Fundamentally strong understanding of various tools and technologies
- Past experience in a high energy startup environment
- A high amount of conviction, confidence, and assertiveness
- Polite personality with a dynamic, flexible mindset
- Willingness to occasionally travel to US headquarters
Good to Haves:
- Prior experience in product-based organizations from similar industries - employee engagement products, hr solutions, workforce management products
- Hands on technical knowledge and leadership experience with SaaS platform
- Experience with running products/infrastructure on public cloud at scale (prefer AWS)
- Values people, process and product
- Mixed experience of startups and larger organizations
