About HR Transformation & Design Authority :

- HR is contributing to the Barclays of the future by providing data-led insight alongside trusted HR guidance. This is supported by HR systems and processes that are intuitive, connected and consistent, and underpinned by a clear data strategy.

- HR Transformation will contribute to this vision by delivering an exceptional transformation experience across the portfolio of strategic initiatives. As part of HR Transformation, the Design Authority Team is a multi-faceted team accountable for the seamless execution of HR Transformation through a well governed PMO, Design Authority and User Readiness function.

- The Design Authority team is accountable for delivering outcomes and deliverables to enable integrated planning, governance, design oversight, engagement and business readiness across the portfolio of initiatives and across regions. This role will require strong collaboration with leaders and colleagues from HR and the broader business, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- User Readiness manages engagement, change, learning and business readiness across the portfolio of HR Transformation with HR, and their client areas.

Overall purpose of role :

- This role is responsible for managing Regional User Readiness activities for COO & Functions, India as part of the HR Transformation program. This includes managing the Regional User Readiness approach, regional plan, governance, stakeholder management and associated implementation activities. This role works in close collaboration with the global lead and the regional user readiness teams (UK, APAC, Europe & Middle East, and Americas).

Key Accountabilities :

- To successfully implement the HR Transformation - User Readiness activities for COO & Functions within the region.

- User Readiness includes management of the change journey, regional governance, communications/ engagement, change management, stakeholder management, learning, business readiness, oversight of local regulatory and local union relations submissions, and oversight of implementation in region.

- HR Transformation covers a diverse portfolio of programmes to support the strategic priorities, and therefore requires an ability to work across multiple streams.

Stakeholder Management and Leadership :

- Engage and manage key stakeholders at a regional level, including HRLT, HR COEs, HRBPs and business COOs and other business clients. Establish self as a go to point for these regional stakeholders.

- Contribute to regional governance meetings, representing the HR Transformation programe.

- Engage with Stream User Readiness Leads to understand stream requirements and to support stream based activities in the region, e.g. Process, Data, Employee Central work streams.

- Manage the process for SMEs to engage with HR Transformation streams across all phases of transformation.

- Ensure engagement approach is audience and culturally relevant.

Decision-making and Problem Solving

- Engage and manage key stakeholders at a regional level, including HRLT, HR COEs, HRBPs and business COOs and other business clients. Establish self as a go to point for these regional stakeholders.

- Contribute to regional governance meetings, representing the HR Transformation programe.

Person Specification :

Personal attributes essential to performing role: e.g. essential/desirable skills, competencies, expertise, knowledge, and experience.

Note: experience requirements must not be in the form of years (minimum or otherwise).

- Proven ability to influence and communicate at senior levels and across teams

- Experience working in a regional setting, across countries

- Understanding of operating model, data, process change, structure reform, technology (SAP HR and SAP Success Factors in particular) and HR processes

- Ability to adapt style with customer base

- Good understanding of HR priorities and services at a business level

- Problem solving ability

- Excellent analytical skills, with experience in problem solving in an HR-focused environment.

- Knowledge of working within HR processes and system environments, including SAP HR, and SAP Success Factors

- Good understanding of Risk Management principles and policies

- Excellent understanding of the Regional Business Units and HR implications for processes

- Experience in regional deployment across Barclays Business Areas
