Role - Vice President - Employee Relations & Compliance
Location - Bangalore
Job Description :-
- Handle various types of employee relation matters and develop solutions in collaboration with manager focused on: providing counsel on performance management issues (coaching, counselling, disciplinary actions, terminations, performance feedback and career development)
- Planning & Executing Fun activities at work to keep Employee Morale high, which leads to higher performance
- Administering the staff grievance and close the grievance by providing a proper resolution within the TAT
- Act as primary point of contact for managers and employees to provide guidance on HR policies, programs and initiatives
- Participate in internal investigations as needed and conduct intake on employee issues and concerns
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
- Enable Employee Connect programs such as one-on-one, skip levels meetings, town hall meetings and ensure maximum participation
- Developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
- Evaluating the efficiency of HR controls and improving them continuously
- Revising HR procedures and reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
- Handling labor laws and wage management
- Monitoring contract labor legal compliance
- Drafting, modifying and implementing company HR policies
- Collaborating with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
- Assessing the business future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
- Keeping abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
- Preparing reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate
Desired Candidate :-
- MBA + LLB with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal English
- Minimum 14+ years progressive human resources experience, preferably in employee relations & HR Compliances
- Proven track record in driving strategic HR initiatives to realize bottom line results and enhance employee engagement
- Ability to perform as a trusted advisor and handle confidential information in a mature and professional manner
- Sound judgment, business acumen, influencing skills and proactive approach to effectively address sensitive employee issues
