An MNC in the data Center business is hiring a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Head, the candidate will be supporting the safe delivery of projects in their portfolio of work.

Role Profile:

- Providing the senior leadership and management teams with Health, Safety and Environment advice and guidance to support change and improvement across our contractor group and our own employees.

- Assuring that the project teams discharge their employer and client duties.

- Contributing to and supporting the effective delivery of the Project Integrated Health, Safety,

- Environment and Security (HSES) Plans.

- Providing advice and supporting change.

- Monitoring and reviewing performance of the Contractors by undertaking assurance activities that support the company to discharge their Employer and Client duties.

Main responsibilities -

- Oversee the assurance activities across projects on pre-construction and construction phases to ensure the HSE Charter is complied with.

- Support the coordination and implementation of the HSE transformation strategy.

- Plan Provide advice, guidance, comment and feedback on project governance.

- Engage design and delivery partners to understand and promote innovative solutions to eliminating, reducing and controlling key project risks.

- Support and ensure that project significant incident reviews take place which challenge findings and share learnings with the wider supply chain.

- Identify and share trends from assurance activities including areas of concern and success.

- Create risk-based improvement plans and monitor outcomes.

- Work with the JV Partners to develop, improve and implement the Health, Safety and Environment Management System including HSE standards and procedures.

- Act as the focal point for the projects for escalation of HSE issues / concerns.

Knowledge/expertise required:

- Demonstrable experience of working with senior leadership and project management teams to deliver Health, Safety and Environment management.

- Advanced knowledge of construction industry HSE legislation and its interpretation and application with in large projects. (Essential).

- Significant experience (minimum 15 years) of senior HSE management within a large global client organization covering large scale projects and employer context.

- Experience of working internationally with international clients is a plus

- Auditing / Quality Assurance experience is a plus

- Experience of implementing HSE strategy in multi-site matrix organizations, preferably within an asset owner or developer.

- Degree / Diploma with PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety) from the state technical board, central labor institute or regional labor Institute is a must

- International recognized HSE Degree (or equivalent), Engineering Degree, NEBOSH International

- Diploma Level 6 or equivalent is a must

- Professional level membership of a recognized body e.g. CMIOSH or evidence of working towards is desirable
