Overview:

We are looking for an experienced VP / Director of Real Estate Valuation to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing valuation activities, mentoring team members, ensuring accuracy in assessments, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Valuation Management

- Lead the preparation of real estate valuation reports (residential, commercial, and industrial).

- Oversee and review valuation models, including DCF, cost, and sales comparison approaches.

- Ensure the integrity and reliability of valuation analyses.

Client Interaction:

- Act as the primary contact for clients on valuation engagements.

- Assess client needs and offer customized valuation solutions to support investment strategies.

- Develop presentations and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure valuations meet all regulatory standards and guidelines (e.g., RICS, USPAP).

- Stay informed of changing laws and regulations that affect real estate valuations.

Team Leadership:

- Mentor and manage junior team members to ensure high-quality output and support their career development.

- Promote a culture of teamwork and client service excellence.

Market Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth market research and collect property sales, rental, and cost data.

- Stay updated on market trends to improve the accuracy of valuations.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Collaborate with teams across the organization, including investment, risk, and portfolio management.

- Represent the company in meetings with clients, regulators, and industry bodies.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master's preferred.

- Certification: RICS, MAI, ASA, or equivalent professional designation.

- Experience: 10-13 years in real estate valuation, with prior experience managing teams.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency with valuation tools (e.g., Argus, CoStar) and strong financial modeling skills using Excel.

- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of valuation standards and real estate market dynamics.

- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; able to communicate complex information clearly.

- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing projects.
