The role involves process engineering and identification of suitable technology/solutions to optimize various internal operations at the company. Overseeing integration of various applications currently in use and ensuring that they continue to evolve with growing organizational needs will be an important aspect of the job.

Experience 10-15 Years

Education MBA from IIM or equivalent+ B Tech in Computer Science

B. Content & Context Factors

- Develop the technology road-map and Design and implement the information system architecture to support organization's operational as well as analytical needs

- Direct and organize IT projects

- Ensure various tools/applications in use are functioning properly and periodically evaluate the effectiveness of these tools

- Research new solutions and technologies and recommend changes

- Interact with business to understand the process gaps and re-engineer the processes if needed

- Hire, train and retain skilled resources for IT team

- Design Information system security and usage policies and ensure compliances

- Get periodic system audits done take measures to mitigate the risks identified during audits

C. Critical Success Factors (CSF)

- Strategic and operational planning skills

- Ability to deep-dive and do in-depth research/analysis of key Business issues

- Systems design and development process including requirements analysis

- Ability to lead a team of technology professionals to get software and applications developed/implemented to solve business needs
