Position - VP Technology / CTO

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with clients (and the larger team within our client) to build technology leveraged tools and solutions that help with Dashboard, data access, insight generation and decision support

Build & Lead the technology services team to achieve business objectives

Set the work philosophy for the team

Set quality processes and standards

Ensure robust and optimal solutions

Manage performance measurement and team building efforts

Manage ongoing projects as well as the pipeline

Convert business issues into technological landscape

Help design, build and deliver the solutions

Help define roadmap, plan/ track progress, ensure execution against plan

Lead the R&D efforts to explore new platforms and technologies to address business issues

Identify and solve challenging new business problems through ideation of new solutions

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

Ability to work well as an extended team of our clients, interact closely with them to understand business requirements and translate them to a technology roadmap

Interest and understanding of new & emerging technologies/tools related to data mining, information storage and retrieval, and product design/development

Have a consulting orientation; gather different perspectives, examples and use them to enrich day-to-day work

Experience in translating business requirements into prototype design, addressing the - HOW- of what needs to be done

Ability to define a technology roadmap, write project plans, track project progress etc.

Experience in managing quality processes including functional testing, performance testing, release management and documentation

Experience in Big Data technologies, Cloud computing - SAAS (Amazon cloud)

QUALIFICATIONS

5-15 years of total experience

Engineer from IIT / NIT (Must)

Expertise in handling diverse technological issues
