Vice President - Credit Risk Reporting - Financial Services

Roles and Responsibilities :

- To analyze trends of various risk metrics across different business divisions and regions and to challenge the data wherever necessary

- To provide ad-hoc analysis of various risk metrics, as well as support ongoing projects as and when required

- To maintain proper documentation of all the processes including for any adhoc assignments

- To prioritize and manage book of work to ensure all internal and external deadlines are met

Mind Set :

Competencies :

- Decent understanding of trade Lifecyle and trade attributes across for Global Market products like OTC, SFT, Money Market, Loans etc.

- Good understanding of Risk Models and Risk Metrics to comprehend impact on reporting

- Good understanding of Product and Client hierarchies

- Well conversant with technologies like SQL and Python and data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau. Exposure to Fintech tools like Alteryx would be a huge plus

- Basic Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements & be able to comprehend implication on reporting on new regulatory developments

General Management :

- Ability to drive strategic thinking within the teams

- Ability to fluidly work across time-zones as per requirements

- Ability to manage change starting from User requirement gathering upto Reporting enhancements

- Delivery focused with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines under compressed timescales

- Ability to design optimal Operating Models that are aligned to underlying data architectures

- Able to manage a very active dialog with Audit

- Ability to engage across divisions to solve problems and create efficiency

- Ability to manage and develop a talent pool

- Solution oriented with Proactive approach and an eye for details

- Ability to escalate effectively to senior management and handle operational escalations from team

- Ability to work with Risk Managers, Credit Analysts, Methodology Groups across regions and levels to understand requirements and come up with solutions.

- Ability to actively engage with Global Senior Management in Risk on various reporting aspects
