The position will be responsible for driving strategic programs and identify opportunities by working closely with Market / LOB leaders in solution/ transferring work to delivery centers based on their respective strengths. The incumbent will work with the leadership to continue to manage relationships with the business leaders across the world to broaden the scope of services of service centers and be part of various transformation initiatives for improving business profitability. The role holder will oversee program management of various ongoing strategic projects and develop a roadmap for enhancing the footprints of shared services delivery
Key Areas
Strategy formulation and Execution
- Facilitates and lead in creation of the strategic roadmap for delivery shared services by expanding the offerings and broadening the footprints across multiple centres (world).
- Drive strategic projects and programs across global delivery centers
- Leads the creation and execution of the frameworks/playbooks/control mechanisms for work migrations in appropriate model and to appropriate shared service location
- Partner with Business/Market/Regional leadership, understand their business plans and prepare business cases for bringing efficiencies in processes and effectiveness in financials.
- Prepare and suggest optimal transfer pricing and work closely with Finance on annual budgeting
Stakeholder Interaction & Relationship management:
- Interface with Global leaders and identify global sourcing opportunities for transitioning work to delivery centers
- Broaden the services scope for the existing transitioned processes in addition to new processes acquisition
- Acts as a point of contact for the project for client and internal stakeholders and works closely with all the support functions and operations within the organization.
- Collaborate with onshore stakeholders for Communication and change management
Program Management:
- Provides overall program management leadership for key strategic initiatives
- Prepare transition plan & budget plan by line of business including preparation of Forecast.
- Provide regular update to leadership on the progress of various initiatives
- Project planning, milestone identification and risk assessment/mitigation plan
- Constantly innovate to provide value addition to the projects as well as improvise artifacts and improve project management methodologies to meet the different business requirements
Education - MBA/other professional qualifications
Experience - 10-12 years of experience with at least 4-6 years in Program/Project Management.
- And atleast 2 years of experience working closely with senior business leaders, COO etc.
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
- In depth knowledge of P&L
- Good with MS excel, MS Power point required.
- Good oral and written communication and strong presentation skills
- Good interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills (stakeholder management, client interaction)
- Experience in managing techno-functional projects is a plus
