Job Description:
- Development and generation of key reports for multiple divisions
- Data preparation activities prior to report generation
- Manage relationships with stakeholders based out of multiple geographies
- Work with IT partners on critical issues and on day to day agenda
- Develop in-depth understanding of reports published to users
- Analyze periodic reports to enable business decisions on core issues
- Design and commission critical reports for business users and develop BI acumen
- Setup a quality practice on automated solutions crafted by the team for business
- Study data trends, patterns and pursue opportunities to build consultative analytics
- Study the existing BI infrastructure and carry out white-spacing initiatives to drive change
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage projects to generate efficiency and enhance controls
- Synthesize information from data and enable proactive decisions
- Position self as a BI manager in improving the offering to business users
- Proactively deal with issues and deliver on continuous improvement initiatives
- Share periodic updates on projects and work-in-hand to sr. mgrs. and regional stakeholders
- Manage work allocation and back up planning to ensure seamless delivery and quality
- Leverage the tools to design state of art reporting, pitch books, client and mgmt. packs
Skills & Ability:
- Strong ability to work with extended teams in business, technology and other divisions
- Attention to detail in supporting mgmt. reporting with clear and concise data points and presentation
- Strong Program Management skills
- Sound knowledge of financial products and responsibilities within IB operations
- Great interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and departments
- Hands on with data analytical tools, BI dashboards and MS Office applications
- Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as SAP Business Objects, Tableau, etc.
- Ability to manage process health, define and monitor team KPIs
- Take charge of teams- training needs and career planning
Other Requirements:
- Rich Risk Acumen to constantly identify and report risks & issues
- Good grasp of Office Productivity Applications
- Engage in efficiency projects and achieve results within committed timeframes and SLA requirements
Qualification:
- B.E./B-Tech + MBA from a reputed college (or Master in Statistics)
- PMP / CBAP Certified and/ or technical qualification in Business Analytics
Experience:
- Overall, 10 - 12 years in Banking Operations Reporting & Analytics
- 6 - 8 years in handling BI implementation and ramp up projects, developing sr. management reports and scorecards/ dashboards
- 5+ years- experience in data analysis and multi locational projects/ implementations.
