VP- COO Group Finance
Job Responsibilities:
- The role is a direct report to the COO - Group Finance in India
- Overall accountability is to support the COO team by providing operational oversight for Business Management, transformation and change activities.
- Cost, FTE and Business Management, including
- Manage Cost/FTE Budget, actual, forecast, allocation
- Ensuring delivery of cost commitments and Organization programmes
- E2E Business Management - operational, administrative & organization oversight
- Accurate Cost allocations and recharge as per agreed methodology
- Resource/ HC Management
- Expense Forecast, reporting, accruals etc.
- TOM investment / saves tracking
- Rate card validations
- Organization, People and Process Transformation
- Work across Finance function to drive optimization and transformation across organization, operations and people and processes
- Work with business and functional partners for most effective solutions for group finance including, Talent acquisition, development and retention.
- Stakeholder Interface
- Providing an effective and efficient interface between the Global COO, Business Management functions and local teams
- Providing the central interface for COO, operational and BM issues in local functions like Risk, technology, HR and other functional and business partners
- Management Reporting
- Headcount - Plan Vs actual, Flight Plans, HC Recon including attrition, bench, demographics etc.
- Infrastructure - Seats
- Management reports for review and oversight including analysis for key metrics
- Support Change Delivery
Provide local support for on time and on budget delivery of change programs
Accountabilities:
Cost Management
- Monitor, Report and provide oversight to any delegated approval authority
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Creation of plans and forecasts
- Monitoring and controlling actual costs
- Governance of saves/efficiency commitments
- Tracking of resource deployment etc
Management Reporting
- Provide timely and relevant MI for GF governance
- Ensure any key risks are highlighted via governance forums
- Provide MI required for key management decisions both on pre agreed metrics as well as adhoc requirements including financial, HC, infrastructure etc.
Compliance and Governance
- Work with the Risk and Compliance teams to ensure GF operates in a controlled environment
Support delivery of TOM
Support on people and operational processes
- People processes - Talent attract, develop and retain

Qualifications
- MBA Finance or equivalent preferred
- COO/Operational and/or Business Management Experience
- Relevant experience in global organization's and delivery to tight timelines
- Experience of Process Management, Business Management and cost/FTE management
- A strong culture builder agent
- Ability to build constructive relationships and communicate in a global matrixed organization
- Energy and resilience to maintain progress against challenging targets
- Capable of acting at speed along with balancing control requirements
