The Content Head will be responsible for leading teams that delivers engaging, descriptive and innovative, yet simple content on the website, application and across other digital platforms. The ideal candidate will enjoy writing and functioning effectively within an entrepreneurial environment, being equally comfortable strategizing and driving operations. The individual will develop, mentor, lead Editing and Social Media team. Job Responsibilities: Lead Strategy: - Set and create vision for company's content - develop the tone and voice for the brand. - Discern market trends and analyse the competition. - Orchestrating digital content strategies across all online platforms. - Ideation for all content to be sent on all social media platforms. - Create a road map for delivery (monthly, quarterly and annually). - Driving traffic and engagement that translates to brand promotion. - Managing a content marketing budget. - Measuring the results of marketing activity to inform future marketing campaigns. - Discerning which platform different kinds of content are best suited to. - Designing and implementing creative marketing strategies to disseminate content in collaboration with the company's overall marketing strategy. Execution Ownership: - Have a plan to execute the roadmap created. Eg. A breakdown plan to publish 200 articles &amp; 50 videos in 1 year. - Set direction for priority and ensure daily / weekly / monthly tasks are on track. - Deliver interactive and customised content basis audience targeted. - Implementing SEO best practices. - Coordinate, communicate and facilitate between team, freelancers, external agencies and stakeholders. - Work and coordinate with branding team / agency. - Ensure high quality content is published - be a Managing editor if need be. Leadership Management: - Hire in house team and freelancers. - Train, mentor, and manage a team. - Setting of KRAs and driving business. - Create a thriving environment for a high performing team. Measure and Showcase Performance: - Ensure ROI and success of delivery. - Determine &amp; implement methods for measuring success for the team. Job Description Vice President (Head) - Content Preferred Background and Experience (Must Haves): - Minimum 5 Years in Content Development / Management. - BFSI exposure in content is a must. - A proven track record of leading and managing a team. - Showcase history of publishing content to a large subscriber base. - Exposure of publishing content, even in vernacular languages. - Previous experience or education in our domain, would be a big plus. - Journalism background would be an advantage. - Experience of working with an early-stage startup with constrained budgets will give gravity. - Some B2C segment exposure is a must.
