Vice President - Compliance - CS/LLB - BFSI

Qualification : CS/LLB and CA will be an added advantage

Skill set :

- Ability to strike a balance between compliance/regulatory constraints and business imperatives & good drafting and communication skills.

- Excellent Negotiation & communication skills,

The candidate would be responsible :

- Handling of Audit and RBI inspection end to end

- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of processes and controls within and across business groups so that the day-to-day business activities are in compliance with applicable laws and that any breaches of such laws, rules, regulations and internal policies are detected

- Provide a proactive and expert compliance advisory service

- Development of policies and procedures and other documents governing business activities, such as manuals, codes of conduct, practice notes, and the like, to comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations.

- Assess the adequacy of compliance policies, procedures and guidelines, resolve any identified deficiencies, and formulate proposals for revisions or amendments

- Identify, investigate and resolve indications of violations to the Company's internal policies, systems and controls or to applicable laws, rules or regulations

- Promptly alert senior management to significant compliance issues

- Periodically report to senior management on the effectiveness of the Company's compliance program

- Keep abreast of regulatory developments or other matters affecting the business activities, systems and controls and Communicate changes to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements and oversee implementation thereof

- Foster a partnership among the various business and support groups to create a compliant business environment and culture

- Partnering, as appropriate, with business and support groups to manage relationships with regulators and assist with the Company's response to regulatory investigations including attending to regulatory inspections and audits and be regulatory interface for the SBU.
