- Management and oversight of team and daily functions completed in Mumbai/Chennai including direct ownership of specific functions and remits as well as providing management coaching support and development for team based in Chennai
- Become an expert on Collateral and Margin requirements, process and technicalities and leverage knowledge to ensure robust operating levels and process improvement
- Become a lead / and partner for managing allocated functions, for example, Feed and Data disruptions including triaging issues and incidents for impacts to BAU and providing and driving solutions in partnership with technology and business colleagues. Manage communications to Leadership Team and other global stakeholders accordingly
- Execute Global and local strategy relating to Mumbai/Chennai and provide management backup and coverage within the region for CMS more generally
- Build resiliency in India, lead BCM and cross location coverage
- Coordinate LEAN initiatives and oversee execution cross India teams as well as take ownership for wider business initiatives and objectives as required
- Stakeholder management and leadership.
- Engage with global CMS leadership team as well as Finance, IT and wider IBMO leads and build strong relationships-
- Hire, retain and develop talent in Mumbai/Chennai CMS
- Involve Mumbai/Chennai CMS team in wider Chennai initiatives and community work
- Decision making and problem solving.
- Candidate must be aware of impact of process done out of Chennai and make decision to manage risk and capacity on day to day basis
- Able to analyze exceptions along with team, find root cause and track resolution and deliver sustainable process and excellence across the functions
- Exercised judgment based on strong data to inform good decisions and help with incident resolution
Your Skills and Qualifications will include
- Minimum 3 years in managing AVPs or team managers who manage others
- Worked minimum 5 years in areas related to derivative trade lifecycle, Middle Office, Finance, Product Control or valuation area
- Able to demonstrate strong in interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Experience in bi-lateral or cleared collateral processes is preferred but not a must
- Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
