Our reputed and a prestigious client, a Global organization with presence in the US and India is looking for Top-Notch VP - Business Operations to be based in NCR though currently a remote working role.
Position reports to the COO
Role Details:
Job Objective: In the role of VP Business Operations, the candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of an organization. Additionally, be responsible for establishing and administering the company's bottom-line targets and execute on special projects on operational excellence driven by COO/CFO office, without being dilutive of the Company's credible SME leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Operations Management:
- Own the key business operations metrics and drivers for each BU in partnership with business managers/leaders who leads the domain and subject-matter expertise
- Responsible for driving profitability from existing business by performance management and process improvement.
- Ensure a robust bottom-line by anchoring strategic and tactical initiatives in line with business plans
- Prepare budgets for the SBU including estimates of all revenue & costs heads, for monthly,
- quarterly & annual plan to achieve the same. Own the exercise of building up the annual operating plan of the company with the COO/CFO office as a program manager.
- Leading role in finalization of client contract/ SLA/ commercial terms /price reviews for existing contracts across BUs
- Enables organization wide analytics & MIS & supports ideation to implementation of strategic based on business insights
- Lead business requirement definition of technology tools and infrastructure for better governance (remote-work-mode friendly environment) across functions and departments, Drive efficiency
- People engagement of a team size of 160 people with a growth trajectory of 300 people in 2 years
- Participating in client visits, interfacing clients for process and walk-throughs. Representing the organization's capabilities to important external stakeholders.
- Work with Human Resources, IT, Business Finance, Administration and Operations backend team to manage capacity planning and resource management for services business.
- Shared responsibility of supporting business development from an operational excellence and delivery standpoint.
- Shared ownership of company profitability with the COO.
- Achieve Company's EBIDTA goal consistent with the company's annual operating plan for Dec 2022
- Execution of Annual Operating Plan with daily managerial rigor in partnership with stakeholders from HR, IT, Admin, Finance, Accounts & Business Operations
- Partner with BU Heads to bring in more efficiency in IP Services Delivery
- Partner with Technology/Product Unit functions such as Dev Ops to bring in more efficiency
- Execute on business transformation initiatives such as process automation, Data on Cloud, Enhancements in Work-from-Home environment, and eventual switch to a Hybrid Work Model
- Partner with HR to enhance internal-customer experience, reduce attrition and increase employee retention rates
- Own IT & Admin Budget
Job Skills Requirement:
- A Management graduate from a well-credentialed with preferably an Engineer or a Science or Commerce graduate with a management degree from a good business school with about 15-20 years of industry experience in an operating role
- Must have worked in the operations of a domain-intensive industry (such as science, technology, law, finance related knowledge delivery)
- Must have experience in industry standard management metrics and ISO / CMMi processes.
- Strong technology focus / understanding & implementation skills to enable technology as a key business enabler.
- Ability to drive change in a rapidly growing business is essential.
- Must be Business Execution oriented (We need examples of projects or initiatives done in the assessment note)
- Must be People centric, but with sharp business acumen
