Vice President - Business Intelligence Unit IT


- Working with the Information Technology Team to drive strategic initiatives, and develop operating plans to deliver short term and long term results

- Develop integrated management & execution plans to support strategic objectives in conjunction with other functions; monitor and report progress against plans to executives

- Work with the central Finance function to prepare Annual Plans

- Interface between the various functions of the wholesale bank in particular and teams across Kotak in general to ensure strong support for key initiatives, and provide feedback to the stakeholders

- Monthly/Quarterly reviews with Senior Management Team (SMT)

- Weekly spend management

- Oversight and review of all financial reporting including Regulatory reporting and Audit queries

- Drive process mapping and process Improvements across finance domain of Information vertical

- Formulate process improvement ideas and drive projects resulting in operational and financial benefits to the organization along with the sourcing team

- Manage a team

- Ability to understand problems, identify opportunities of improvement and provide solutions and innovative cost cutting initiatives.

- Benchmarking and market analysis with industry

- Strong academic credentials, with a CA / MBA from a reputed institute

- Deep understanding of Technology

- 10-12 years of progressively responsible business experience with specific experience in strategic & business planning, Financial analysis, Process transformations etc. ideally from a complex management organization

- Ability to define strategic needs of the Business, analyze business strategies, as well as translates into potential productivity goals.

- Experience in facilitating the business planning processes, together with specific change management practices to promote process adoption

- Strong management skills & business acumen, appropriate to fast-paced business environment. Able to influence key members of the organization, and cultivate a high-performing team

- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communications skills - capable of developing well- structured communications and presentations to senior management
