Job Summary
The incumbent will play an integral role on the leadership team working to achieve financial, operational, and customer experience goals for all our restaurants. He/She will be responsible for the P&L of the restaurant chain and will analyze key performance indicators to enhance overall company performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee budget for all the restaurant chains to maximize opportunities and ROI.
- Support Management with analysis of key business metrics and restaurant performance.
- Develops, monitors, and reports on operating costs within functional areas. Alerts management of cost and labour over run. Makes recommendations and implements solutions to problems related.
- Communicate reporting and analysis with key stakeholders to share pertinent leanings.
- Calculate ROI for each restaurant and make recommendations based on results to increase sales, opt-ins, Average Order Size (AOS), and repeat purchases.
- Provide effective people leadership of assigned restaurants by attracting, motivating, developing, rewarding and retaining top talent.
- Work closely with the General Managers of the various restaurant to ensure safe, efficient and appropriate management of operations.
- Manage and mentor the General Managers towards business goals, ensuring the maturation and training.
- Evaluate management operations and financial performance and report accordingly
- Ensure the business has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures to meet operational and financial targets
- Works with Directors of Sales and Marketing to oversee implementation of sales, revenue management and marketing programs in order to achieve and exceed established sale goals.
- Overall control all levels of management, financial transactions and accountancy matters including audit system
- Enhance and standardize work-flow processes throughout that assist in achieving consistency in maintaining critical success factors
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance and best-in-class employee engagement to drive results
- Provide ongoing leadership to the teams delivering strong financial results through operational excellence in all restaurants
Job Holder's Specifications
- Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management or related field
- Minimum 10-15 years relevant experience in a similar role (preferably in management of a club facility)
- Proven track record and success managing multiple restaurants (including the management of the P&L)
- Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example work style.
- Strong people management skills and experience in leading, performance managing, motivating and developing professional employees
- Firm understanding of business financials, budgets etc.
- Strong work ethic, the ability to work a flexible schedule, and excellent people skills for this very service-oriented business.
- Strong analytical thinker who is data driven yet able to make a decision quickly
- Strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills.
- Aptitude in financial management, financial reports and analysis.
- Computer proficiency, including Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel
