Vice President - Business Finance - Supply Chain Firm

As the Head of Business Finance, you will play a critical role in steering the company's financial strategy and operations to support our growth and impact goals. You'll work closely with executive leadership, operations, and technology teams to ensure optimal financial planning, budget management, and performance analysis across our supply chain network.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex business scenarios, apply data-driven insights, and lead a dynamic finance team to support Company's mission to combat malnutrition through sustainable food distribution.

Main Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with Company's vision and mission.

- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure resources are optimally allocated for maximum impact.

- Analyze market trends and business performance, providing actionable insights to senior leadership for growth and expansion.

Operational Finance Management:

- Oversee financial operations across our technology-enabled supply chain, ensuring seamless financial control and reporting.

- Implement and monitor KPIs for financial performance, operational efficiency, and cost management in alignment with company objectives.

- Collaborate with operations teams to support cost-effective procurement, inventory management, and logistics strategies.

Investment & Funding:

- Lead efforts to secure funding and manage investor relations, ensuring optimal capital structure and growth financing.

- Evaluate and pursue potential M&A opportunities, partnerships, and other strategic investments to expand Company's reach and impact.

Risk Management & Compliance:

- Identify financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

- Establish robust internal controls, audit practices, and governance frameworks to maintain financial integrity.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

- Drive continuous improvement in finance operations, leveraging new technologies and best practices for efficiency and accuracy.

Must Have Requirements:

- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CFA or CA preferred.

- 8+ years of experience in finance roles with a focus on supply chain, FMCG, logistics, or e-commerce sectors.

- Proven track record of driving financial strategy and managing P&L responsibilities in a high-growth environment.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
