Brief Job Profile:
- This is a leading leadership role in growing the business in identified service sectors, through traditional offerings services, as well as to build & contribute to the diverse growth opportunities in Geospatial & IT enabled services. This position is expected to drive exponential business growth in both domestic and international market.
- This position will be involved in extensive interactions with prospective customers both in Government, Private sector and Institutions to develop new concepts, progressive business ideas, marketable solution and continuous involvement in identifying new opportunities in the defined sector.
- This position should be able to interact with the internal team of functional leaders, business partners, technical experts, and articulate how to best integrate Solution / technologies for customers to deliver superior business impact and realization.
- The Position will hold the responsibility for business target realization with clear focus on adding new customer, increase market share while growing and retaining existing customers by delivering exceptional customer service.
Role & Responsibility :
Strategic Growth :
- Plan and Develop annual business plan (Industry specific) with target business funnel to achieve.
- Plan and Develop budget to support business plan (Domestic / International)
- Active stakeholder consultation and networking to align business opportunities.
- Develop marketing communications strategy, brand building and market visibility.
Business Intelligence :
- Derive appropriate market research to support marketing strategies.
- Develop and support SWAT process for opportunity pursuit.
- Develop business database strategy and its follow up cum implementation.
- Monitor competitors and their activities for market intelligence reporting.
- Customer Understanding, experience in bidding and winning large deals in Government vertical.
Business Development :
- Execution of business plan and its quarterly monitoring for all segments such as Govt, PSU, Institutions and Private Customer
- Active engagement and its success by proactive approach with customer.
- Consultation and coordination with senior management to align the business goal objectives.
- Active consultation with functional head and technical core team to build and align technical aspects and its commercials.
- Strategies to execute both proactive and reactive bid opportunities.
- Development of both domestic and international business development team
Skill Set & Competency :
- Proven ability to bring new ideas, concepts and processes to support business growth and best practices.
- Strong business analytical and reasoning abilities with risk assessment.
- Participative management style, advocates team concept.
- Good communication and networking skill.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess excellent strategic, planning, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Extremely client service-orientation and client-focused.
- Technology / Tool based platform to support business practice.
- Ethical approach and attitude to business practice.
Minimum Qualification:
- Masters in Engineering / Science / Planning / IT / Management with relevant domain & industry experience of 15 years.
- Exposure to IT enabled solution framework & GIS technology related business development would be added advantages.
