Vice President/AVP - Compliance - ITeS/BPO/KPO

Role : Vice President / AVP - Compliance - ITeS / BPO / KPO (Healthcare BPO)

Location : Mumbai / Hyderabad

About the Role:

This leadership role will set goals, guidelines and provide strategic direction to the compliance department, oversee the company's initiatives related to compliance, and ensure that all policies and guidelines are updated to reflect industry standards and the rules set by governing bodies. Furthermore, the role will ensure that the company is compliant with government standards.

Key Accountabilities:

- Implement a compliance monitoring program to ensure all centers continue to comply with internal and external requirements such as ISO 27001, Hitrust, HIPAA, Information Security, SOC 1 &2 and PCI DSS

- Implement required and best practice controls at the operations centers to address companies compliance requirements (including standards related to information security, people security, data privacy, contractual requirements)

- Research and propose best practice solutions for the specific nature of companies operations

- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations whilst taking a commercial and practical approach to risk-based challenges and offer appropriate solutions

- Manage the successful delivery of compliance projects ensuring technical excellence and a practical/business driven approach

- Collaborate with business/functional owners and provide advice and guidance for system and timely closure of open risks/audit identified issues

- Ensure that audit identified issues are quantified and reported to management in clear and concise manner on a timely basis

- Perform periodic analysis of audit issues, identification of trends, patterns and re-designing of policies and processes to ensure audit issues are not repeated

- Liaison with external vendor for certifications, VAPT, security and privacy related activities

- Providing support, education and training to build risk awareness within the Organisation

- Assist with identifying relevant training needs and helps with planning training activities to ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities regarding compliance and carry out their work activities appropriately

- Develop, lead and motivate the team members to maximize effectiveness

Requirements:

- PG / MBA / CA with overall experience of 15+ years

- Experience in heading/managing the compliance function of a large ITES setup

- Experience in implementing and testing controls, preferably at a large operations facility

- Internal and/or external audit, or compliance monitoring experience, preferably working for a large recognized public accounting or financial services company

- Practical experience communicating with various stakeholders effectively across the organization

- Ability to work in a remote environment with teams in India

- Working knowledge of information security related best practices and standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 requirements.
