Role - VP / AVP Sales & Marketing - Exports
Base Location - Mumbai
Overview: Candidates must have experience of selling Electrical Goods into Power Utility / EPC's Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Business Development & Acquisition, Collection, Sales & policy advocacy for Power Cable & Wire sales, develop and implement effective sales strategies into USA Market.
- Core competencies include New Business Development, Key Account Management, Strategic Planning, Business Research, Corporate strategy, financial research & analysis and managing techno-commercial negotiations. Achieving export sales targets and handling of EPC's, Consultants and Utility business across USA.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for expansion of product growth across the US for Power cables and power transmission conductors.
- Identify potential markets and segments with the highest growth potential.
- Develop a comprehensive sales strategy and regularly evaluate and adjust the strategy based on market dynamics and competition.
- Research and analyse international market trends to identify opportunities.
- Stay up to date with export regulations, trade laws, and customs requirements in various regions to ensure compliance.
- Increasing sales and profitability through the negotiation of terms, contracts, pricing, and documentation.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned regions.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
- Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments.
- Keep abreast of new product launches.
- Team Management (USA/India).
- Channel/Business partner's management and new appointments.
- Should have strong sales exposure handling Utility (Electric) and allied industries.
Job Requirements:
- Engineering Graduate, MBA in Sales and Marketing(Preferable).
- Good experience in export sales with a proven track record of achieving export sales targets.
- Strong understanding of international trade, export regulations, and customs requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Should have 18+ yrs experience selling electrical products preferably wires & cables In international market (North America - USA, Canada, Mexico etc.).
