Key Responsibilities-
1. Responsible for Review and delivery of reports to be prepared for Appointed Actuary
2. Responsibility of management decks related to experience analysis, persistency, claims, expenses, investments
3. Provide support on results of valuation and how to efficiently manage capital
4. Ensure compliance with all APS. Review of FCR etc.
5. Management of Participating business and Regular progress on IFRS-17
6. Review of existing process and its automation
7. Review of Prophet models
Key deliverables:
1. Managing PnL with support from finance
2. Managing solvency
3. Managing cost of the function
4. Review of management reports & Board papers
5. Review of regulatory reports
6. Managing continuous progress of IFRS-17
7. Managing actuarial models
Skills and Competency requirement:
- Qualified / Nearly qualified actuary with overall experience of at least 12 years in life insurance, with minimum experience of at least 5 years in Annual Statutory Valuation of Life Insurance company
- Able to work under pressure and focus on deliveries
- Assertive on delivery of results and strong team management
- Having good communication and presentation skills
