Vice Chancellor - Central India - Industry/Academic Background

A highly reputed conglomerate with over 40 years of experience running successful businesses is looking for a Vice Chancellor with an industrial and academic background in Central India.

Looking for a dynamic academician who has a -

1. PGDM/MBA from IIM or QS top 100 MBA program.

2. FMP/PhD in the field of management from QS top 100 universities or IIM.

3. Strong consultancy credentials.

4. A passion for building a brand of a young and ambitious private university with a hand- on approach and the courage to employ out-of-the-box academic methods.

5. At least 10 years at a professor-level appointment during his/her career.

6. By law, age less than 65 years at the time of applying; however, younger applicants preferred.

7. Willing to relocate to Indore with family for the currency of the tenure.

The key responsibilities of the Vice Chancellor will be to -

1. Recruit A-grade national and international faculty, building a strong academic delivery team.

2. Recruit ancillary teams.

3. Lead relationship-building with industry and drive industry-academia collaborations in the form of continuous curriculum workshops, live case writing, industry professionals as visiting faculty, and consultancy projects.

4. Promulgate a suite of Executive Courses for mid-level managers to CXOs and Boards.

5. Maintain excellence in all academic programs, ensuring achievement of industry-prescribed program outcomes.

6. Work towards the goal of a USD 50 million endowed corpus by 2035.

7. Uphold the vision of the university: industry as the focal centre of everything the university does.
