Job Title : Vertical Head - Consumer Durable & Information Technology (CDIT)

Reporting to : Business Head

Desired Qualification : Post Graduation/MBA (Marketing or Operations)

Age : 35-45 Years

Required experience range : 15-20 Years

Purpose :

Responsible for monitoring and achieving targets in quantitative terms, finalize annual budgets in conjunction with the Business Head, monitoring performance against budgets on regular basis for all the regions. This is a strategic role with the responsibility for profitability, growth, business development and new customer acquisition, quality of service, business expansion and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and statutory regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- P&L responsibility including Sales, Marketing, Service, Quality.

- Manage business operations with key focus on top line profitability by ensuring optimal utilization of resources.

- Identify new business opportunities within existing focus Industry sector and develop capabilities for potential high growth rate new industry sectors.

- Developed pricing template to ensure all cost elements are met and desired EBIDTA is achieved as per agreed goals.

- Accurate forecasting of pipeline and revenue from potential customers / leads on a monthly quarterly and annual basis.

- Develop review and SLA monitoring mechanism to monitor service level of internal and external customer.

- Develop new business / SCM solutions for identified industry sectors like Consumer Durable and information technology including Mobile Phones & Accessories.

- Develop a strong solutions, account management, sales and operations team to manage the business growth.

- Responsible for overall health of the business with respect to market share, sales value & volume, profits and ROI

- Responsible for developing the business plan and financial budgets and targets for the business along with Business Head.

- Grow the current business exponentially through a combination of organic and inorganic means

- Will have to synergize and bring about optimal utilization of all products and services offered by the group in the logistics & supply chain domain

- Responsible for business growth and development and progressively increasing revenues from new and existing market segments under the Vertical.

- Able to direct Sales teams, claims prevention, administration, accounts, contract negotiations, cost control & staff management

- Responsible for providing technical insight to clients and presenting them with solutions to handle their logistics requirements.

- Responsible for establishing and leading a sales organization to deliver on business goals and targets

- Drive efficiencies in Operations by benchmarking costs with competition

- Plan market development activities

- Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.

- Extensive knowledge of OPEX, CAPEX, Budgeting, Forecasting

Desired Candidate's Profile :

- Candidate should be post graduate/ MBA in Marketing/ Operations from premier B-School with around 15-20 years of experience out of which 3 to 6 years in leadership role with direct responsibility for P&L and key business deliverables.

- Deep understanding of complex integrated logistics solutions (Logistics and Warehouse transportation), customer and marketplace needs

- Should have strong business understanding of contract logistics; identify potential business development and SCM solutions opportunities in the industry sectors like: Consumer Durable and information technology.

- Should have expertise in managing business operations specifically top line profit and ensure optimal utilization of resources

- Should have abilities in devising sales & marketing strategies to accelerate the business growth and align to organizations expansion strategies in conjunction with the Business Head.

- Should have in depth marketing experience spanning brand marketing, product management, demand planning & demand generation across assigned market

- Proven skills in managing team to work in sync with the corporate objectives and motivating them for achieving business & individual goals

- Decisive and advanced thinking, with strong vision and strategic capability combined with strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities.

- Should have detail oriented attitude, escalation management and flexible to travel across PAN India as per business requirement
