Chief Business Officer - Sales Head (India) Job description.

- The Chief Business Officer (Sales Head - India) will spearhead Vernost's sales initiatives across the Indian market, with a focus on cultivating and expanding relationships with key clients across diverse sectors.

- This senior leadership position calls for a seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of the Indian market, responsible for designing and executing revenue-driving strategies, enhancing client satisfaction, and ensuring long-term business growth.

Objectives of this role:

- Lead Vernost's sales strategy across India.

- Build and strengthen relationships with key clients across various sectors.

- Drive revenue growth through targeted sales initiatives.

- Develop and execute strategies that enhance client satisfaction.

- Expand Vernost's market presence in India.

- Ensure sustainable, long-term business growth.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Indian market, aligned with Vernost's broader business objectives.

- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to consistently achieve and surpass revenue targets.

- Identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the Indian market to foster innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal. communications, newsletters, and marketing materials.

Sales & Business Development:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives across diverse industries.

- Lead sales efforts for Vernost's product portfolio (VePay, ClubClass, etc.), focusing on loyalty programs, payment solutions, and customer engagement platforms tailored to different sectors.

- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to customize and tailor solutions to the specific needs of Indian clients.

- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, employing a consultative selling approach.

Revenue Growth & Market Penetration:

- Accelerate market penetration by acquiring new clients and deepening relationships with existing ones.

- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling within the client base to maximize revenue.

- Develop pricing models and proposals that reflect market conditions and provide value to both clients and Vernost.

Client Relationship Management:

- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

- Work closely with client teams to provide continuous support and optimize the utilization of Vernost's solutions.

- Incorporate client feedback into product development and service improvement initiatives.

Team Development & Collaboration:

- Build a high-performing sales team through strategic hiring, coaching, and professional development.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of sales targets.

Required skills and qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; MBA or an advanced degree is preferred.

- Over 10 years of experience in sales leadership within the Indian market, with a demonstrated history of driving revenue growth.

- Must have experience in the BFSI domain.

- Established relationships with decision-makers across multiple industries.

- Proven expertise in driving sales and business development in complex, solution-oriented environments.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience managing large-scale sales teams.

- Proficient in CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
