Venzo - Product Owner- Supply Chain Finance

As a Product Owner for Supply Chain Finance and Payments, you will drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Supply Chain Finance solution.

This position demands an expert understanding of Supply Chain Finance and payments.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, pre-sales and SaaS, to ensure product success by aligning user needs, business goals and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic objectives and market opportunities.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify user needs, trends, and competitive landscape.

- Ensure that all product solutions adhere to applicable regulatory standards.

- Stay updated on Swift standards and regulatory changes (e., ISO 20022, PSD2) and integrate them into product enhancements.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to align product requirements, scope and success metrics.

- Oversee the product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

- Prioritize product features, balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.

Create and maintain a product backlog and work with R&D and Product management teams to manage the release process.

- Facilitate functional training sessions on product features for Project, SaaS and Sales teams.

- Support Project and Sales team with customer workshops, RFP responses, product queries etc.

- Prepare and review Testing scripts, Product documentation, Yearly release notes.

Required Experience and Skills

Minimum 12 years of overall experience, with:

- Proven experience in product management or ownership within the Supply Chain Finance and Payments industry.

- Proven ability to create and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on customer needs, market trends, technical feasibility, and business objectives.

- In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Finance, including products like factoring, reverse factoring, dynamic discounting, and trade finance solutions.

- Expertise in payment regulations, especially those relevant to cross-border payments, Swift standards, and payment security regulations (e., PSD2, AML/KYC).

- Awareness of emerging trends in the Supply Chain Finance and Payments space (e., blockchain, AI, and digital currencies).

- Familiarity with financial technology ecosystems, including cloud-based solutions, payment gateways, and transaction processing systems.

- Knowledge of the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to product launch, iteration, and end-of-life.

- Knowledge of regulatory changes like GDPR, Swift GPI, ISO 20022.

- Experience with user testing, feedback loops, and post-launch analytics to improve products.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly across technical and non-technical teams.

- Structured, with ability to work as individual contributor as well as in a team and possess strong organizational and time management skills.

- High degree of customer orientation, positivity, and responsiveness to employees at all levels.

- High willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
