Job Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with fintech and tech regulations in India.

- Monitor changes in fintech regulations and advise the company on necessary actions.

- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure the company's operations meet all legal requirements.

Contract Management:

- Draft, review, and negotiate key partnership contracts.

- Manage contractual relationships with partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.

- Provide legal advice on contract disputes and resolutions.

Product Counseling:

- Provide legal counsel on the launch of new SaaS and fintech products.

- Ensure new products comply with applicable laws and regulations.

- Collaborate with product teams to mitigate legal risks in product development.

Corporate Transactions:

- Assist in company's fundraising (VC/ PE), and acquisition (M&A) transactions.

- Conduct due diligence and support the legal aspects of corporate financing and investments.

- Work closely with the finance team to structure deals and agreements.

General Legal Support:

- Provide day-to-day legal support to various departments within the company.

- Advise on general corporate governance matters.

- Handle any litigation or dispute resolution as required.

Qualifications:

- Educational Background: Graduate from a top-tier law school.

Experience:

- 3-6 years PQE, preferably in a reputed law firm and/or fintech company in India.

- In-depth knowledge of fintech regulations and technology laws.

- Experience in managing key partnership contracts.

- Product counseling experience, including launching new SaaS and fintech products.

- Preferred experience in VC/PE/M&A transactions.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of fintech and tech regulations in India.

- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
