Job Title: Director- Strategic Sales


Location: Gurgaon, India (with potential for national and international travel)

Job Overview: As part of a young, aggressive firm poised for exponential growth, we are on the hunt for a Strategic Sales Director who can harness the dynamism of the IT services landscape to catapult Velocitai into a new era of success.


This role is not just about leading sales; is about being at the forefront of an exciting journey, driving Velocitai to scale up, innovate, and redefine industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the Velocitai's goals and objectives, focusing on sustainable growth within the IT services sector.

Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, cultivate partnerships, and negotiate contracts to expand our market share and revenue.

Market Analysis:


- Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies, adjusting our approach accordingly to maintain competitive edge.


- Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and expand the sales team, fostering an environment of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Client Relationship Management:


- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding client needs and delivering solutions that meet those needs.


Sales Targets: Set ambitious yet achievable sales targets, track performance, and implement corrective measures to ensure targets are met or exceeded.


Collaboration and Reporting:


- Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to market.


- Provide regular reports to senior management on sales progress, forecasts, and strategies.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, IT, or a related field.

- A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the IT services sector.

- A proven history of driving growth within an IT services environment, backed by a robust understanding of the industry landscape, both in India and internationally.


- An expansive network and a reputation for turning strategic connections into profitable partnerships.


- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies in a competitive environment.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and leading a team towards achieving sales goals.


- Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools. Willingness to travel as required.
