Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing robust sales and operations plans that align with organizational objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly across sales, operations, and other key departments
Roles and Responsibilities:
Integrated Planning:
- Develop, implement, and manage the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory strategies.
- Work closely with Demand, Category, and Operations teams to ensure synchronization of demand and supply.
Forecasting and Demand Planning:
- Collaborate with demand and category teams to analyze market trends and customer demand, contributing to accurate sales forecasts.
- Utilize forecasting tools and methodologies to optimize the inventory pipeline and ensure product availability.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Foster strong communication and collaboration between sales, operations, finance, and other relevant departments.
- Act as a liaison to facilitate the flow of information and ensure alignment of business goals.
Performance Analysis:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and operations planning.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Continuous Improvement:
- Proactively identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the S&OP process.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best-in-class S&OP practices.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in relevant roles ( Sales, Planning, Operations, etc )
- Graduate/ Post Graduate with 5-8 years of experience and 3-5 years of experience respectively
- Has led Cross-functional projects/ teams
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedule
