Overview:

As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control operations within the organization. You will lead a team of quality assurance and quality control professionals to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a focus on continuous improvement to drive operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight:

- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Establish quality policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across all operations.

- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor the effectiveness of the QMS and identify opportunities for improvement.

Quality Assurance (QA) Leadership:

- Lead the QA team in developing and implementing quality assurance strategies, plans, and initiatives to meet quality objectives and targets.

- Define quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor product quality, process performance, and customer satisfaction.

- Drive a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Quality Control (QC) Management:

- Oversee the QC team in establishing and maintaining quality control procedures, standards, and protocols for product testing and inspection.

- Ensure that QC processes are executed effectively to identify, report, and address deviations, non-conformities, and quality issues.

- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

Regulatory Compliance and Audits:

- Ensure compliance with relevant quality regulations, standards, and certifications, such as ISO, FDA, and other regulatory bodies.

- Prepare for and participate in external audits and regulatory inspections, coordinating responses and corrective actions as needed.

- Stay updated on changes to quality regulations and industry best practices, proactively implementing changes to maintain compliance.

Supplier Quality Management:

- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials, components, and services.

- Develop supplier quality agreements, specifications, and performance metrics to evaluate supplier performance and manage quality risks.

- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to resolve supplier quality issues and drive continuous improvement in supplier quality processes.

Training and Development:

- Provide training and development opportunities for quality assurance and quality control personnel to enhance their skills, knowledge, and capabilities.

- Foster a culture of learning and development within the quality operations team, promoting professional growth and career advancement.

Qualifications and Skills:

- 5+ years of experience in the Quality Domain

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred.

- Proven experience in quality operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated industry.

- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA regulations).

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven and analytical approach to quality improvement.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results in quality performance and customer satisfaction.

- Experience in the Agri field will be an added advantage.
