Job Description:
- Ownership of P&L and overall business management for the assigned business vertical
- Responsible for developing new business and identifying potential customers
- Work directly with a team of 20-50 employees and responsible for delegating tasks and solving interpersonal problems
- Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet departmental productivity and quality goals
- Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department
- Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Manage and deliver on business objectives through profitable Business Development by meeting the set targets from the organization
- Develop strategic relationships with parties that can lead to ongoing business opportunities.
- Manage direct relationship with customers and partners
- Build extensive industry contacts and knowledge through multiple marketing programs
- Market intelligence/business leads and drives entry strategies to targeted markets by defining scope, strategy and methodology for success
The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Willingness to travel to US (people with US B1/B2- preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills, including oral presentations and business writing
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new customers and grow businesses
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, management, finance, communications, or a business related field (candidates with educational from top Engg/ MBA institutes will be preferred)
- Min. 7 years and above of relevant Business Development / Sales experience within the IT/ Engineering Services sectors
- Good experience in managing critical client relationships (key stakeholders) and internal management
