Vedantu - Senior Director - Finance

- Manage BizFin, FP&A and Controllership functions.

. Coordinate with functional stakeholders to develop the monthly & quarterly plans in sync with AOP, with rigor on bottoms-up approach

- Review the plans vs actuals on a regular basis; in-depth analysis of variance and communicating the same proactively creating right visibility and enabling planning of actionable

. Monthly preparation of Financial Statements

- Monthly reviewing the Trial Balance & sanitizing the same.

- Managing day 2-day accounting operations

- Do scenario analysis and develop business plans on product enhancement or business initiatives, present top management with actionable insights into the business

- Closely monitor the costs of the function and ensure ROI is being delivered

- Manage a team of 8-10 professionals

- Enabling the teams in achieving their deliverables through cross-functional coordination and partnering with other business finance managers

- Continuous tracking of key financials and business metrics, accurate reporting and circulating the same to relevant stakeholders at requisite time intervals

- Develop a deep understanding of business drivers and leverage that to create views for creating actionable plans

- Prepare financial information & analysis for business reviews/presentations with key highlights

- Participate & Drive standardization automation projects for process efficiency

- Assess competition information to benchmark efficiency & productivity

- Partner in formulating the overall strategic direction for the Company

Desired Skills

- 12-15 yrs Exp, Chartered Accountant or Post-Graduate from a tier 1/ tier 2 University or business school. Should hold a degree in finance

- Strong stakeholder management, and proven track record in rapidly scaling up business

- Strong analytical rigor and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication & Interpersonal skills
