Vedantu - Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will work closely with our Business Units to help them make data-driven decisions that drive business results. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who can work with complex data sets to identify patterns and trends and develop insights that support business growth. Financial Analyst will report to the Senior Business Finance Analyst and will work closely with other members of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with Functional Units to define business problems and develop analytical solutions

- Gather and analyze large data sets using statistical software, SQL, and other tools

- Develop predictive models and simulations to forecast business outcomes

- Create financial models to support business decision-making

- Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate results to clients

- Develop recommendations based on data analysis and present findings to clients

- Collaborate with other members of the finance team to deliver high-quality solutions to clients

- Stay current with industry trends and new technologies in analytics and finance

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, or computer science. A Master's degree is a plus.

- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a related field

- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large data sets

- Strong communication skills and ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders

- Experience with SQL for querying and managing data

- Experience with financial modeling and analysis

- Knowledge of e-commerce business models and their financial drivers is a plus

- Experience in consulting or working with clients is a plus
