Responsibilities:

- Planning and ensuring compliance with applicable Tax Regulations (Indirect and Direct Taxes)

- Expeditious resolution of Tax matters when need so arises

- Assessing Implications of various direct and indirect tax laws on business decisions

- GST Compliances - Monthly , Quarterly, and yearly

- Manage all GST notices, assessments, and disputes

- Dealing with Tax Authorities

- Liaising with internal teams and external tax consultants

- GST Output Reconciliation - GSTR 3B VS GSTR 1 VS Books

- GST Input Reconciliations - GSTR Vs Books

- Direct Tax Compliances - Monthly, Quarterly, and yearly

- Reconciliation of 26AS with books

- Filing of Income Tax return and Tax audit

- Reviewing customer or vendor contracts for tax related treatments/implications

- Tax Planning for the organization and exploring opportunities for tax savings

Desirable skillsets:

- CA with 3-5 years of experience post qualification or MCOM/MBA with 5+ years' experience in taxation

- Familiar with Direct and indirect taxation

- Should be focused on Automation of work

- Previous work experience in taxation in Big6 or a listed company preferable

- Tightening internal controls around taxation and compliances

- Proactive communicator and Quick decision making
