Our Client is a global strategy consulting firm, and they are currently engaged in a sales transformation for a major player in the decorative paint industry.
The goal is to assist the client in achieving growth targets within the rapidly evolving decorative paint market, which is experiencing disruption due to the influx of new competitors. The project will center on leveraging traditional strategies to enhance market penetration, improve dealer engagement, foster influencer relationships, develop targeted marketing initiatives, and strengthen digital capabilities.
To support with thus initiative, they are looking to bring on board a seasoned Sales or Marketing consultant with the previous experience within the paint industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with client to devise and implement sales transformation strategies
- Analyzing market trends and competitor landscapes to identify growth opportunities
- Developing and executing plans to increase market research and enhance dealer engagement
- Crafting tailored marketing interventions to effectively target key consumer segments
- Enhancing digital capabilities to align with industry trends and consumer preferences
- Providing strategic guidance and support to ensure the projects success an alignment with the clients objectives
Experience Required
- A minimum of 5 years experience in paint industry is required, either as a sales or marketing professional with roles like Regional sales manager (RSM) or higher, or with prior experience in in the strategy division of a paints company. Alternatively, the client is open to considering strategy/management consultants with a minimum of 4 years of experience in executing projects within the paint industry.
- An undergraduate degree from tier 1 institute or MBA graduate from a tier 1 institute
- Strong interpersonal and business communication skills
