Vashi Integrated - Zonal Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the operations of multiple warehouses within the designated zone, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize warehouse operations, improve productivity, and reduce costs.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards across all warehouses.

- Manage and lead warehouse managers and staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

- Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

- Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

- Develop and manage the zone's warehouse budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices in warehouse operations.

- Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment and facilities.

- Experience in managing a warehouse team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

- Hands-on experience with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Conduct regular surprise visit, Gemba Walk and take corrective action as per observations.

Experience:

- Extensive experience in managing multiple warehouse facilities and operations.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop large teams, including warehouse managers and staff.

- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

- Experience in budget management and cost control.
