Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to lead and manage training programs for a B2B electrical sales company. The L&D Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing training strategies to enhance the skills and knowledge of our sales team, ensuring they are equipped to achieve business objectives and meet industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales training, with a focus on electrical products and solutions, as well as experience in adult learning principles and training program management.
Creating a Learning Framework:
- Create a Learning Framework for delivery of Functional, Technical, Behavioural, Process and Leadership Training, through E Learning, Classroom Training, Outbound, Institute Tie Ups or Self-Paced Learning mode.
Content Design:
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand training needs and objectives.
- Research: Conduct thorough research to gather relevant materials and resources for the development of training content.
- Content Development: Create and curate high-quality training content that aligns with the organization's learning goals.
Program Delivery:
- Trainer Identification: Identify and onboard internal and external trainers with the expertise to deliver effective training programs.
- Training Scheduling: Plan and schedule training sessions to ensure timely and efficient program delivery.
- Facilitation: Oversee the execution of training programs, ensuring they are engaging and impactful.
Tracking Effectiveness & Impact:
- Mechanism Development: Design and implement methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs, such as feedback surveys and performance assessments.
- Data Analysis: Analyse the data collected to assess the impact of learning interventions on employee performance and development.
- Continuous Improvement: Use insights gained from evaluations to continuously improve and refine training programs.
Budget Management:
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and track expenses incurred for various learning initiatives to ensure they stay within the allocated budget.
- Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize costs without compromising the quality of training programs.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports related to learning and development activities to senior management.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Candidate should have worked in a managerial role, with exposure to Corporate Learning & Development function, with focus on Learning Facilitation, Program Design, and Tracking Effectiveness. Candidates from B2B Industrial Product Sales Companies will be preferred.
- Candidate should be open to travel as per business requirements, within and outside the city.
- Not looking to hire a Training Delivery / Trainer profile.
