Job Summary:
- The PMS & Employee Engagement Specialist is responsible for managing the performance management process and driving employee engagement initiatives across the organization.
- The role focuses on developing and implementing strategies to enhance performance, foster a culture of continuous feedback, and improve employee satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management System (PMS):
- Design, implement, and maintain the Performance Management System to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Develop performance evaluation methods, including goal-setting frameworks (e.g., SMART goals, OKRs), competency assessments, and feedback mechanisms.
- Facilitate training for managers and employees on PMS processes, tools, and best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the performance management process and recommend improvements.
- Analyze performance data and provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Manage the performance review cycle, including annual, mid-year, and quarterly reviews, ensuring timely completion and quality feedback.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify top performers and create succession plans.
Employee Engagement:
- Develop and execute employee engagement strategies to boost morale, productivity, and retention.
- Conduct employee engagement surveys, analyze the results, and work with management to develop action plans.
- Organize employee engagement events, activities, and recognition programs to foster a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop programs that align with the company culture and values.
- Monitor and assess employee satisfaction and engagement levels, recommending interventions as needed.
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns related to engagement and work-life balance.
- Develop communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged with the company's mission and goals.
Continuous Improvement & Culture Development:
- Promote a culture of continuous feedback and development through workshops, training sessions, and coaching.
- Work with HR colleagues to align performance management and engagement initiatives with broader HR strategies.
- Benchmark against industry best practices and introduce new methodologies to enhance the employee experience.
- Support initiatives aimed at diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring all employees feel valued and included.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of performance management systems, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience with employee engagement programs, including survey administration and analysis.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Proficiency with HRIS and performance management software.
