Key Responsibilities:
Financial and Business Information Systems:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust financial and business information systems to track key performance metrics.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of data inputs and reports across financial and operational systems.
Sales, Revenue, and Cost Analysis:
- Analyze sales, revenue, and both direct and indirect costs to identify key cost drivers and variances.
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance.
Budget Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor monthly budgets and provide guidance to department heads on optimizing resource allocation and improving ROI.
- Evaluate budgetary performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Cost Management and Best Practices
- Perform detailed cost analysis to identify inefficiencies and recommend best practices for cost control.
- Ensure alignment of cost structures with organizational objectives.
Reporting and Decision Support:
- Generate accurate and timely cost and revenue reports to support management decisions.
- Prepare financial dashboards and MIS reports for senior management to facilitate business planning and forecasting.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Chartered Accountant qualification is not required, but strong skills in financial analysis and reporting are essential.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, and financial modeling.
- Experience with financial and business MIS tools and software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and cost management.
